First time I’ve ever had the IMAX theatre all to myself.
I know nothing about this anime series, but enjoyed this film. Gorgeous animation. The last third is totally insane.

oh wow maybe I should hit this. I’ve made the mistake of going to anime movies based on TV series when I never watched the series and was totally lost. So I stopped going to those movies (like the recent Demon Slayer).

It definitely would’ve helped to know the tv series. I had no idea who these characters were or their back stories. I made some assumptions and kind of went with the flow. :)
