Overview

Master diver Frank McGuire has explored the South Pacific’s Esa-ala Caves for months.  But when his exit is cut off in a flash flood, Frank’s team—including 17-year-old son Josh and financier Carl Hurley are forced to radically alter plans.  With dwindling supplies, the crew must navigate an underwater labyrinth to make it out.

With the slew of films where nothing good comes out of going into a hole in the ground to explore, I’m never going caving, like ever.  This is less of the horrible monster living underground variety and more man versus environment.  Some great shots in this with characters I actually cared about, this was a nice surprise on a lazy New Year’s Eve.
