Viewing Notes

via Netflix

An archaeologist sets out to find a link between an ancient shipwreck and the Viking apocalypse known as Ragnarok, only to make a chilling discovery. While this has a slow build up before the bigger reveal during the second act and the tension of the third, this has all the earmarks of some of the better big critter horror flicks like Jurassic Park or Jaws. We don’t get to see much of it, but when we do it’s important and impactful. Really well done film. Definitely another good one, but if you’ve seen Jurassic Park III you’ll be able to predict the plot a bit too well towards the end.
