Overview

400 years into the future, disease has wiped out the majority of the world’s population, except one walled city, Bregna, ruled by a congress of scientists. As a Science Fiction film Aeon Flux fails.  As an adaptation of a cool animated series on MTV, Aeon Flux fails.  As Charlize Theron eye candy, Aeon Flux succeeds (somewhat). But where Aeon Flux shines is it’s 100% unintentional comedy and total lack of compelling story telling.

Aeon Flux is a mess.  But, it’s a fun mess.  Charlize Theron is easy on the eyes, even though she refused to wear the skimpier costumes the character had in the MTV series.  For late-night, alcohol induced viewing, Aeon Flux can be entertaining.  However, beware of watching sober.
