Viewing Notes

Forgot to log this from late Saturday night. Another film in my Peter Hyams project. I’m not a big fan of 2010. It’s adequate (like a lot of Hyams’ films) and does some decent stuff from a technical perspective, especially some of the miniatures work, but just lacks so much of what made Kubrick’s 2001 such a great movie.

This is a journeyman’s film: technically proficient but lacking in creativity.
