Viewing Notes

The thin plot and stereotyped racial patter hasn’t withstood the test of time really well, but the movie still has a few decent moments.

It occurred to me while watching this that A Bullet To The Head pretty much follows the same formula: reluctant buddy movie with the partners from opposite sides of the law and racially different with plenty of stereotyped racial jokes and comments thrown in.

Apparently what constituted box office hit in 1982 doesn’t fly so well in 2013. Hopefully that means we’ve progressed as a society.
