Viewing Notes
A fun re-watch since The Relic is set primarily in Chicago at the Field Museum of Natural History. Fun to see the exteriors of the museum and the lake front. Good cast and great creature FX by Stan Winston.
One of the funniest scenes to me however, is where the SWAT team leader, after reeling up the upper torso of a dead team member on a rope, is kneeling on one knee on the rooftop of the museum, fists clenched, head upturned and screaming in a “why, God” pose. It was so melodramatic that I laughed out loud for the brief second it was on-screen.
