My third film of the Stanley Film Festival and a bloody good time! The creatures and real FX make up for a lot of the faults of this film, primarily the found footage aspect, which I felt was unneeded and burdensome. They could have shot it conventionally and really conveyed the same thing, only better.
Still, the dizzying array of creatures made up for the shortcomings and really made the film enjoyable for me. I left thinking how much I’d love to have 1/6 scale figures of all the zombots. Definitely worth a watch on DVD or streaming.
