Viewing Notes

A pretty good martial arts flick with a plot revolving around the tried and true formula of deception and double crossing that drives so many of the Shaw Brothers classics.

Lots of the usual characters and once again directed by Chang Cheh, the battles involving flag staffs are pretty visually compelling.

While not as great as some of the classics, it’s still a very enjoyable film and easily worth a watch.
