Not Carpenter’s best but one I still enjoy for the interesting premise and the weirdness. It feels like a cross between Assault on Precinct 13 and the more ensemble cast idea Carpenter originally had for the Thing.
First time Gavin had seen it, after which he declared “I really like John Carpenter.” My work here is done.
