Only the second time I’ve seen this movie in its entirety. Still holds up well; I love the pacing, which is held together quite nicely by Carpenter’s score.
I’m pretty sure the audio from the message from the future is sampled in a Cabaret Voltaire (or related side project) song, but not sure which one. I’ll have to track that down.
I had completely forgotten that Alice Cooper was in this. It was also interesting to see a handful of the actors from Big Trouble in Little China show up in this too. It was more noticeable because I watched Big Trouble, Prince of Darkness and They Live! back to back.
