Eh. I fully knew the level of ridiculousness I was signing on for, so it’s not that. It just didn’t flow well and the constant “family” motif got to be annoying after a while.
The set-piece destruction stuff was fun-ish, but the best parts for me were the Tony Jaa and Ronda Rousey fight scenes. I’d rather see both of those two in their own movies than as one-off baddies in movies like this however.
So, brain-disengaged fun, but pretty forgettable. I think FF5 is still my favorite of the series.
