A really smartly done film; well-written and intelligent take on artificial intelligence, gender, man’s god complex, human identity and more. I like that the movie subverts the audiences’ expectations in ways we didn’t expect and that hubris comes into play, but in more ways than you might think.
All the acting is top-notch, especially Oscar Isaac, who really does a great job of immersing himself in the role of the smarmy, more-intelligent-than-you, coder/inventor/hyper-rich antagonist.
