Viewing Notes

Good not great. The cinematography is well done, even beautiful at times. The plot pivots between cliches and unexpected moments. Ultimately I didn’t really connect with any of the characters and was mostly hoping they’d all die.

When introducing the movie, the director said it was a cathartic exercise to get all his anger out of his system after the outcome of the 2016 election. I hear ya brother.

Wow I’m surprised this played at DFF. I can imagine it showing at a genre fest like Windy City or Cinepocalypse. Agree that it covers a lot of familiar territory but it looks really good and shot so well.
