Viewing Notes

I just got the Blu from Kino Lorber which features the newly restored version from 2005/6. The print looks great and the intertitles were excellent. This version features the original German intertitles with subtitles in English or alternately English intertitles.

This also features a new recording of the original score as well, which sounds amazing.

It’s been so long since I’ve watched my DVD version that I remembered little about it other than some of the iconic scenes. It was almost like watching it for the first time again.

Great way to kick off the run of 1922 films I have planned!
