Overview

When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc is mysteriously enlisted to investigate. Really fun way to close out the festival! Although the endless trailers I’ve seen for this ruin some of the fun, this is still really funny and a great throwback to murder mystery whodunnits. Great performances from an ensemble cast and lots of shots across the bow of Rian Johnson THE LAST JEDI critics, which I thought was great.
