Overview

After a young mother murders her family in her own house, a detective attempts to investigate the mysterious case, only to discover that the house is cursed by a vengeful ghost. Now targeted by the demonic spirits, the detective must do anything to protect herself and her family from harm.

Not without it’s problems, but I really liked how it was shot and the smart, human takes on the characters, who felt like real people treated with empathy (until they’re not because, you know, it’s a horror film). I especially liked Andrea Riseborough in this, just wish the movie had spent a little more time on her character to give her a little more depth as a person.
