Viewing Notes

An odd crossover film, Chinese made but dubbed with rap music, presumably for an American audience, and released as Li was just moving over to Hollywood films like LETHAL WEAPON 4. Eric Tsang, Simon Yam and Gigi Leung round out the cast. Not Li’s best by far but there’s still plenty of fun action and goofiness going on to keep it entertaining. The redubbing is terrible though.

I have this on DVD as well but it’s also dubbed. I should probably try to find the original, longer film under the title HITMAN.

I did enjoy the quick homage to LEON!
