Despite the less-than-stellar acting and the odd outdoor location shooting, this is easily the better of the two GUYVER films because the creature suits are even better and the fight choreography is way better, gorier and just a lot more fun.
Glad I remembered to tune in and watch these on Daikaiju-TV tonight since I’d been wanting to watch them for a long time.
Now I need to watch Wang’s DRIVE which features Kadeem Hardison who I met and chatted with at Microcon because he’s a big Micronauts/Microman collector. He hung out for hours and checked out all our toys (he was fascinated by my Henshin Cyborgs) and swapped Hollywood stories. I specifically remember him talking about DRIVE!
