Finally cracked up the Arrow SISTER STREET FIGHTER collection and watched the first film. There’s just enough of a threadbare plot to hang the action on but let’s be honest, that’s all we really need anyway.
SSF definitely borrows a bit from Bruce Lee’s ENTER THE DRAGON which came out the year prior to this; and maybe it’s those similarities that make it feel a little less fun; but it’s still great to see Shihomi and Chiba face off against a variety of martial arts foes and kick some ass.
