Jess Franco’s version of the Bram Stoker classic has Count Dracula as an old man who grows younger whenever he dines on the blood of young maidens.

While it’s true that this is a pretty faithful adaptation of the original novel, it suffers for it with a languid pace and lackluster cinematography. Too bad given the interesting cast. Lee is still stately and sinister as Dracula though.
