Celebrating Walpurgisnacht with Joe Bob and Darcy on The Last Drive-In with a witch double feature. First up is Bava’s classic starring Barbara Steele. Great cinematography and lighting do a lot to carry this amalgamation of vampirism, witches, curses, zombies, and more. The dialogue can be corny and overly florid at times but it’s still a really well done film. The opening scene in particular is excellent!
