Overview
Professor Albus Dumbledore knows the powerful, dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards and witches. They soon encounter an array of old and new beasts as they clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers.

Viewing Notes
Tonia had to work but I kept my day off and since I’m here in Peoria at my in-laws’ I decided to catch a movie on my own. Tonia already saw this one so it made the choice easy. The theater was almost entirely deserted. It was me and two women and that’s it.
This series goes out with neither a whisper nor a bang, but something in-between. The stakes feel low, there isn’t a lot of action, and what there is just feels very mediocre.
I did like Jessica Williams as Lally but overall this movie just felt uninteresting.
