Somewhere in Europe, mid-20th century. Albert is employed to look after Mia, a girl with teeth of ice. Mia never leaves their apartment, where the shutters are always closed. The telephone rings regularly and the Master enquires after Mia’s wellbeing. Until the day Albert is instructed that he must prepare the child to leave.

Still mystified by what was going on but really loved the languid pace, lack of revelations, lighting and production design.
Hilarious to see the crowd be completely flummoxed by this one after it was over. The series is called Friday Night Weird my good people, what did you expect!
From the director of EVOLUTION, so I kinda knew what I was getting into. This is a film that just doesn’t get made without government funding.
