Went to the 5pm showing in the hopes of avoiding a more unruly crowd which this film will surely bring to the theater. Was mostly successful except for the group of teenage girls some of whom were obviously technically too young to see this. Not that I cared about that, I’d have done the same thing, just that they kept talking. Not too loud, but loud enough it was still a bit distracting to me.
Anyway. This was fun. And gory. But not quite as fun or gory as I expected it to be. Tonia loved it though, so that’s a win. I had no idea Elizabeth Banks directed this until her name appeared in the opening credits. And RIP Ray Liotta, you went out on an interesting note at least.

surprisingly decent crowd for my mid-afternoon screening… enough that I could hear ppl laughing around the theater. Did have me thinking that this would’ve been a fun one at FF w/Banks & actors in attendance and a much better audience. Why I am not surprised that Tonia loved it?? Haha
