Viewing Notes
What it must have been like to see this gorgeously avant garde film back in 1926! Thought lost for the better part of 50 years, I forced myself to jam this into my packed lineup of stuff for the evening and I’m glad I did. I’d love to be able to see this in my home theater. The score for this is mesmerizing and really helps to keep you in the film, since it’s silent and has no intertitles. Apparently this must have been broadcast on TCM sometime in the past as it had the TCM watermark in the lower right corner.
