Viewing Notes
Really hard to believe this was released in 1926. Some segments feel like 60s new wave. Need to digest before providing more notes.
It’s more like a dream or a nightmare. No dialogue of course but does have an unnerving score that compliments the visuals. It’s soothing on its own but makes the oddities of the movie seem more intense.
Reminds me of Un Chien Andalou, which oddly may have been influence by this movie. Maybe. Who knows what the film situation was like back then.
