Viewing Notes

Pretty light horror from Mexico but the girl who plays Gabby manages to do a great job of looking unsettlingly evil even before she finds the damn doll. I would NOT babysit that kid! Gabriela Hassel is great and totally gives of ‘80s vibes; the costume designers nailed that look (guess it wasn’t hard since it was made in the ‘80s but still).

I really wanted more back story for the witch and the property to tie it all together better, and maybe some more exploration of that creepy well/cave.
