Watching LADY FRANKENSTEIN earlier made me want to revisit this and it’s still amazing. The sets are just incredible and add so much to the film. The castle sets are obviously inspired by German expressionism but eschew the flatness of those for something more three-dimensional and solid. Colin Clive really turns in an excellent performance in this.
