I’ve watched my Mei Ah Entertainment release of this that I bought a few years ago but this is the first time watching the VSA release. In general the picture quality and subtitles seemed better for this version. Vernon Wells makes a great bad guy in this even if he’s more or less in the background for a lot of it. There are some really fun fight scenes that involve a mix of gun play, martial arts and practical effects, my favorite being the stairwell/apartment sequence.
