While it may not be Carpenter’s best or most successful film, it’s my favorite. I’m a sucker for a good siege movie and the ice cream truck scene is just as shocking now as when the movie came out. The dialogue is top notch, especially Napoleon’s lines. Austin Stoker is so good in that role with some great deadpan line deliveries.
