Overview
While investigating noises in his house one balmy Texas night in 1989, Richard Dane puts a bullet in the brain of a low-life burglar. Although he’s hailed as a small-town hero, Dane soon finds himself fearing for his family’s safety when Freddy’s ex-con father rolls into town, hell-bent on revenge.

Viewing Notes
Even though my rating’s the same, I enjoyed this more the second time around. Michael C. Hall with a mullet supported by a lean and mean Sam Shepard and scene stealer Don Johnson mete out some justice in late ‘80s East Texas.
I didn’t know who he was the first time I saw this movie but hey, look, there’s Wyatt Russell looking so very much like his dad.
