A lot of the discourse on social media seems petty and ridiculous after actually seeing the movie. This isn’t a movie that takes sides because it’s not about that; it’s about the fact that this could be the reality of this country in the near future, which is extremely troubling. As for what it says about journalism, I’m not entirely sure, since it’s primarily focused on photojournalism and the war photographers than anything else.
The acting, cinematography and effects are all top notch. Dunrst and Moura in particular are excellent.
