Overview

Teenager Owen is just trying to make it through life in the suburbs when his classmate Maddy introduces him to a mysterious late-night TV show — a vision of a supernatural world beneath their own. In the pale glow of the television, Owen’s view of reality begins to crack.

Similar to WE’RE ALL GOING TO THE WORLD’S FAIR in that it casts a spell over you and immerses you in its world, even if you don’t full understand where it’s going, or even if it’s going anywhere in particular. I really like Lundy-Paine’s performance in this.

This is the first of four movies I got tickets for this weekend, and since this was the cheapest matinee of the four, I used my gift cards to pay for it instead of A-List.
