Viewing Notes
A much-needed break for Tonia and I. Really our first evening away from the house since we’ve been here. We had the theater all to ourselves for a private screening. Pretty ironic to watch a movie set in the Rockies and Boulder while in Illinois instead of back home in Colorado.
While this is mostly by the numbers, it’s fun to see all these familiar locations. The first shot of the kid on a rock outcropping overlooking the Boulder Water Treatment plant was instantly familiar as that’s the first place I hiked to on the first hike I took after moving to Colorado. Funny that they renamed the NCAR lab to Boulder National Laboratories and made it some kind of battery research place.
Reminds me that I still need to watch Nolfi’s THE BANKER which also stars Mackie.

So glad to read you guys got out to the movies for a break. I am going to put this on our list of movies to see - maybe while in CO or maybe in FL. :)
