Viewing Notes
Also known as PEONY LANTERN, which I suppose is also an apt, if more ambiguous, title. The moral underpinnings of the story are a little hazy but seem to be focused on choosing death with dignity rather than living morally compromised lives.
The practical effects and makeup are used sparingly to great effect and have been my favorite thing about the movies in this box set.
