Viewing Notes
Borrows significant footage from the first movie during the opening minutes, which is really just episodes of the STARMAN TV series edited together. After that it’s Starman rescuing first a passenger plane with a broken rudder and then intercepting a shady motherfucker with an atomic briefcase who’s part of an organization that wants to take over the world by… proliferating nuclear weapons to every country? Sure, why not.
Once again, I wonder if there are original language versions of these movies or if they were only edited together from the original TV show to make a dubbed movie. I’m guessing no Japanese version of the movies exist. Still I’d like to see the original series to get a better sense of what it’s really supposed to be like.
