I promised myself I’d make a better attempt at attending movies at IFS this semester, plus I’ve never seen this in a theater, much less on 35mm, so I made the trip to CU Boulder. The screening was packed! I’ve never seen that many people in an IFS screening, at least not at the VAC. When asked who hadn’t seen the film before, about 90% of the audience raised their hands. Pretty fun to watch this generation of college students get their brains scrambled by this for the first time. The print they screened was in nearly perfect shape. I envy those kids!

That’s great that the turnout was good! I saw that print at IFS a few years ago but wasn’t a big crowd. Seeing films like this with a bunch of newbies is a delight. Hahaha
