Viewing Notes
Went from the Dairy Center to IFS for a second movie, which ended up being very experimental as well. This would have been better viewing at home with comfortable seats. A strange movie to watch in a college classroom late on a Friday night with a sparse, mixed crowd. Had a few walkouts but that’s fine. I don’t really know anything behind the making of this (in fact I’d never even heard of it before) but I’d love to get the soundtrack.
There is a story, though its told without dialogue and left to the audience to piece together. There’s plenty of nudity and sexual scenes throughout, but much of it is through montage and overlaid with a statically ambient soundtrack that creates a more dreamlike experience.
I think it overstays its welcome but again, this would probably play better at home in comfort.
