Interesting way to tell this story, a loose narrative about a relationship that goes sour in the midst of seemingly successful home business of explicit gog sex videos.
A lot of this I really like particularly the banging score. I would love to recreate that with a playlist if those songs were available. Great to hear it loud in the VAC Basement.
While it is novel to make this a period film, having a lead who looks very out of time was distracting. She’s great but very clearly not of a time pre-computer. I was thinking about it and wondered if that was intentional, present something anachronistic to give that feeling that something is off.
I dug the movie but there’s only maybe two people I could recommend it to. Haha
Filmmaker should make a SOV and/or found footage horror sequel to this called MONOLAKE.
