The news of Netflix dropping hundreds of titles by May 1 has been burning up the wires like wildfire. Some 1700+ titles are being eliminated from their streaming service, mostly MGM/United Artist titles. And many are obscure gems unavailable on home video or OOP. Even I didn’t realize the severity of this until it was [mostly] too late. Even then I wasn’t in a good position to jump on this with my recent activities keeping me away from the TV. That said I attempted to make the most of this sad news and cram as many titles as I could within a couple of days as time and schedules allowed. I basically dedicated these last 2 days solely to NWI viewing.
