G-FEST is the largest regular gathering of Godzilla and Japanese monster fans in the world. Held each summer, it typically attracts more than 1000 attendees. The 2015 Convention, G-FEST XXII will be held from July 9th to July 12th, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare and Pickwick Theatre in Park Ridge, IL. The G-FEST double double feature film festival will be returning on July 9th for fans that arrive early.
Films to be screened at the Pickwick Theater are THEM!, THE DEADLY MANTIS, GAMERA VS JIGER, GAMERA: GURADIAN OF THE UNIVERSE (Gamera 50th Anniversary), GODZILLA VS BIOLLANTE, GODZILLA VS MEGAGUIRUS.
Several other films screen at the convention for the G-FEST Film Festival. These include HAIL TO THE KING, EXTINCTION, BOY AND HIS COLOSSUS, and a variety of shorts and clips.
