Overview

In an alternate timeline the original Godzilla is never defeated and repeatedly reemerges to feed on Japan’s energy sources. A new inter-dimensional weapon called the Dimension Tide is created with the intent of eliminating Godzilla. However, the new weapon might also serve as a gateway to something far more sinister.

I think this is the third time I’ve seen this at G-Fest? Yep, third time in the last 5 years. At least it made sense this time with the director Masaaki Tezuka as a special guest at G-FEST and on hand to introduce the movie. Officially becomes my most-seen Godzilla movie since I started tallying.

I’ve grown to really love this movie over the years having seen it the most. The battle in Odaiba is so great. Still a fun one to see with a G-FEST crowd. Hopefully it won’t screen again for a few years.
