Viewing Notes

Been waiting a long time for this and held off on VOD hoping for a big screen viewing. Got that plus Don Coscarelli in person to introduce the film and provide a Q&A afterward.

The film is quite good although I will need to view it again since I missed about the third of the dialogue from all the audience laughing. Didn’t expect this to be nearly as funny as it is. Much more comedy than horror. Gets a tad too convoluted toward the end but still is a solid piece of filmmaking. I enjoying the framing and angles used quite a bit considering they were key elements of the fantasy story being told. Impressed by all the actors.

I suppose I’m not the only one that desires that welding helmet. Already look forward to revisiting this film.
