Viewing Notes

Excellent 35mm presentation by CCS at The Patio! Glad Pat made the trip. Haven’t seen this since we viewed at movie night maybe 8 or 9 years ago so it was a treat to see in the theater. Also nice that the Grow Up, Tony Phillips crew came out for it. Afterwards Peter mentioned that he hadn’t seen it before and didn’t know what movie I was talking about when I mentioned it yesterday. So he and Emily and the gang came without even knowing what the film was. But they were entertained (how can anyone not be entertained by this flick?). So much fun.

Extra bonus: chatting with Neil before and after about upcoming events. Double bonus: chatting with Rusty Nails afterwards about the Chicago film scene drama. Triple bonus: spending a lot of time chatting with Peter afterwards (probably the most we’ve talked including my trips to Austin and at Fantastic Fest). Quadruple bonus: finally meeting The Wolfman and talking Chicago film scene.

Great night and awesome end to a long day of film!
