My third film at Stanley Film Festival and a total blast. Not a perfect flick but damn fun when the shit hits the fan… and boy, does it ever. Deliciously so. The monster designs are exquisite—> I want 1/6 scale figures for all of them esp. Propellerhead. I’m under the impression that the creatures/zombots were conceived first then the story was written around it. Cuz the story is the weakest element. The found footage device is unnecessary and sheds light on its deficiencies. Still a good ride and worth seeking out for those amazing monsters.
