Overview
A sleepy fishing port town is consumed with terror when a small crater crash-lands nearby and releases a slimy parasitic agent that transforms the residents into brain-eating zombies. Cornered in an abandoned fishing lodge, six strangers are forced to band together to stave off the blood-sucking monsters clawing the walls outside.

Viewing Notes
Wasn’t planning on revisiting this yet but since it was expiring on Instawatch, here I am. Saw the Chicago premiere at Portage Theater a few years ago and really enjoyed this hor-com but also thought it was the atmosphere and having Tenney there to introduce and Q&A.
So upon this rewatch I was mostly curious if it would hold up to that screening. Happy to report that for the most part it does. The low-budget CG seems more pronounced but the comedy stays true. The practical FX are bloody fun. The flawed characters work. Not a brilliant film but entertaining enough for me that I would watch this again and again. Also love that Wynorski is the one of the characters.
