Overview

Viewing Notes
First movie of Fantastic Fest 2013 and broke tradition with a Japanese movie (instead of Korean since none were programmed first). Had no expectations or knowledge going in but was pleasantly surprised. Really adore this movie and the brave performance by Kumi Takiuchi, who is cute as a button. Fascinating character study on a multi-levels. Great start to my festival esp. as I almost didn’t make it to this screening. But that’s another story.
