Viewing Notes

Twenty first movie of my FF2013 and third of Day 5. Moved some things around on my schedule to catch this b/c it was one I wanted to see when the schedule was announced. Glad to have caught it but a bit of a letdown even knowing the premise going in: a family adventure flick with a “dragon”. Yes, it’s all that but nothing we haven’t already seen. It is extremely well made with excellent CG but it didn’t do a lot for me. Gorgeous film though with amazing landscapes of Norway. 27th favorite overall at the festival.
