Overview
A rash of bizarre murders in New York City seems to point to a group of grotesquely deformed vagrants living in the sewers. A courageous policeman, a photojournalist and his girlfriend, and a nutty bum, who seems to know a lot about the creatures, band together to try and determine what the creatures are and how to stop them.

Viewing Notes
Second to last movie (14th overall) at the Box of Horrors 2013. Pristine 35mm print that they sought after for the better part of the past year. Wasn’t keen on revisiting the movie since I’m not crazy about it but it did look great and the CHUD monsters are awesome. Great shots of NYC. Crowd applause when John Goodman and Jay Thomas appear.
